SNUB

Terms of use

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms apply when you use SNUB (snub.fyi), which is run by SNUB (“we”). By using SNUB or posting on it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use SNUB.

Who can use SNUB

You must be 18 or over. We don't check ages, so by using SNUB you confirm that you are. If we learn that a story was posted by someone under 18, we'll remove it. You may use SNUB only for yourself, not on behalf of an employer.

What SNUB is

SNUB is a place to share first-hand experiences of working somewhere. Stories and ratings are the opinions of the people who wrote them. We don't verify them and don't endorse them, and they are not statements by us.

What you can post

Share your own experience, honestly. You must not post anything that:

  • names or could identify a private individual, such as a colleague or manager, including by their role, location and dates together;
  • states as fact something untrue or defamatory, or accuses a named or identifiable person of a crime;
  • threatens, harasses or abuses anyone, or attacks people for their race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality;
  • shares anyone's personal data, such as phone numbers, addresses or emails, or confidential information such as trade secrets, client details or material covered by the Official Secrets Act;
  • breaks Singapore law, including the Protection from Harassment Act and the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act;
  • is spam, advertising, or is posted to manipulate a company's rating.

One rating per company per person. Don't use more than one account to post, rate or avoid a ban.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and moderate it on SNUB for as long as it's up. We never rewrite your words: we either show a story as you wrote it or remove it. You're responsible for what you post.

Moderation

  • Every story, and every edit, is checked automatically. Anything that may break these terms waits for a moderator before it goes live.
  • Registered users can report stories. A story reported by several people is hidden while we review it.
  • We may keep, hide or remove any content, and give strikes to the account that posted it. Three strikes means a ban; serious breaches can mean an immediate ban, and removal of that account's posts.
  • To appeal a decision, email legal@snub.fyi.

If a story is about you

Anyone, with or without an account, can ask us to remove a story using the removal request form. We review every request and will remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Anonymity and your account

  • On your first visit we create an anonymous session in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch device, you lose the ability to edit or delete what you posted from it. Register with an email to keep that ability.
  • We work hard to keep you anonymous, but we can't guarantee it. Your own words can identify you, and we may have to disclose information if the law requires it (see our privacy policy).

Things you mustn't do

  • Scrape, copy or republish SNUB content in bulk, or use bots or automated tools.
  • Get around our security, captcha, rate limits or bans.
  • Impersonate anyone, or try to identify the people who post here.

Disclaimers and liability

SNUB is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for content posted by users or for any indirect or consequential loss from using SNUB. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. You agree to cover our losses if a claim is brought against us because of content you posted in breach of these terms.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and using SNUB after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: legal@snub.fyi.
